MIRA PENTHOUSE

When our clients moved into the penthouse of a new Embarcadero high-rise, they arrived with a shared love of the sweeping views of the Bay and its bridges, but non-shared, non-overlapping styles for the interior design of their home. They asked our team to create a cohesive vision for their common spaces that would “bridge” their distinct ideas, while manifesting his + hers office spaces that could be full representations of their own unique tastes.

Via furnishings with architecturally ”organic” silhouettes, ironically inspired by inorganic forms in nature (boulders and rock craggles), we brought to life a quietly artful home that softens the angularity of their building and the built environment it looks onto. Custom furnishings and swirling lightforms join sprawling gold linework and peekaboo crocodile-print plasterwork by Caroline Lizarraga, to tell a boldly monochromatic story of the creativity and shared love of hosting of this beautiful family.
